I am looking for feedback on these types of videos which I have commentated in my native language and added English subtitles. making subtitles is time-consuming and I was wondering that should I do it in the first place. Could an English speaking be interested in this kind of content (if he/she likes the game)? Half of my subscribers are English speaking so I wanted to provide them an opportunity to watch my non-meme videos also.
Ok so not your normal content but still pretty good. You did a good job cutting out the dull parts and thanks for creating english subtitles for it.
Even though I can't read the graphic subtitles that you made, I'd recommend giving them an outline to make them pop a little more and using a lighter or more dull color for the font would also make them easier to read.
As this is more of a lets play format than your normal stuff, you might consider an intro where you introduce yourself and the people that you're playing with.
Great video though. It's nice to see that you're branching out and experimenting.
The gameplay is fine. The game itself has enough that changes that it isn't too boring to watch. The random images are fun.
As for the subtitles, I think the viewer's mood would be the deciding factor. If the viewer isn't in the mood to read, the video might be a turn off, as a non-Finnish speaker.
Also, and I say this a lot, face cam helps alleviate a lot of boredom as the viewer can see your non-verbal reactions.
